Jack Rogers is a post graduate researcher at the University of Southampton whose study focuses on archaeology, mythology and how these topics are used by pseudoscience and conspiracy. With an avid interest in myth and legend. 
Perception is a key factor in the study of other cultures, what the supernatural means to you might mean something completely different to someone else. You can enjoy the ranting of a mad archaeologist looking to expand peoples understanding of how the way we all see the world can be different. 
Learn why studying other cultures rituals and beliefs can be so difficult and why it is important to try and leave behind our own biases when attempting to piece together past civilisations. 
By the end, you will hopefully have a better understanding of how ghosts, ghouls and supernatural stories can mean very different things to various people and cultures. 

Disclaimer - no ghosts will be attending.

Check-in: from 6PM, in the foyer of Building 58 (Murray), in front of the main entrance from the car park.

Food and drinks: a water fountain is available in the Study Space by the main entrance.

Accessibility: Venue has full wheelchair access and hearing loop is available. Priority seating for deaf, hard of hearing and visually impaired in the first front row. If you require additional support, please ask a member of the Festival team on site.
