You will then learn how scribes pressed wedge shaped signs into damp clay more than 5,000 years ago, explore how writing first developed for recording goods and daily life, and discover how it later expanded to laws, stories and myths. Using a printed cuneiform symbol sheet, you'll shape your own clay tablet and inscribe it with a stylus.
All materials are provided, and you can take your finished tablet home as a unique reminder of your journey into the ancient past.
