Looking for a fun way to challenge your mind and discover Chinese culture? Come and try Xiangqi (Chinese Chess), a traditional two-player strategy game with a long history and distinctive pieces such as the General, Chariots and Soldiers.

Whether you are completely new to Xiangqi or already have some experience, this friendly drop-in activity welcomes everyone and is tutored by tutors from the Confucius Institute at the University of Southampton. You can learn the basics, explore the game's distinctive rules and enjoy a game at your own pace.
